Certificate in Youth Work Level Three

Friday, March 12, 2010

The Level Three Certificate in Youth Work has been designed to ensure that all youth workers have access to the necessary training and qualifications, that unqualified workers are supported and encouraged to progress, and that the qualification is mapped to the National Occupational Standards. On completion of the full certificate the worker will gain recognition as a Youth Support Worker within Wales.

As part of the YMCA Wales Community College’s ongoing Sustainable Development Strategy all of the Handouts and Activity Sheets are now available via the College’s Website.

If you would like to access these files please contact Becky Watson with your name and course details. A password will then be sent to you to allow you to download the relevant files.

As of the 12th March 2010 the assessment criteria and tutor resources are now available online. If you are a tutor or student who would like additional copies of these documents a different password will be required for the remainder of the academic year.

You can access the available files by clicking here or visiting the ’Youth Work Level Three Resources’ page which can be accessed by clicking on the Students Quick Links to the left of this page. The tutor files can be accessed by clicking here, or by visiting the ’Youth Work Level Three Resources’ page.

Please be aware that the documents available are only for the academic year 2009-2010 and may be subject to change.
