The Level Two Award in Youth Work has been designed to ensure that all youth workers have access to the necessary training and qualifications, that unqualified workers are supported and encouraged to progress, and that the award is mapped to the National Occupational Standards. On completion of the Award the worker will gain recognition as an Assistant Youth Support Worker within Wales.

 

1.         Target Audience

 

The Level Two Award in Youth Work is targeted at learners, working under supervision in the voluntary or statutory sectors.

 

·                Unqualified youth workers wishing to undertake the role of the JNC recognised Assistant Youth Support Worker

·                Full–and part-time youth workers

·                Volunteer youth workers.

Please note that throughout Autumn 2012 the resources and password will be updated with the new documents. Course Material with the 2011-2012 date will not be accepted for the coming academic year.
