E-Library Youth Work Resources

Along with Trinity St David’s University, YMCA Wales Community College supports the YouthWorkWales e-library facility, which provides online access to a range of historical and current youth work publications.

The E-Library was created as a response to the difficulties Youth Work learners, in further education and higher education, experienced in accessing relevant Youth Work related policy documentation and articles to enable them to complete assignment work.

As a joint initiative, YMCA Wales Community College collaborated with the University of Trinity St David’s to create the E-Library facility.

The E-Library provides learners with free access to a site which hosts a large number of documents, many of which are available bilingually, or in the process of being translated.

The E-Library is a living facility with new pieces of writing being added at regular intervals.

Anyone wishing to contribute an article, at any level, to the E-Library should contact Dr John Rose at YMCA Wales Community College.
To the right of this page is a document giving step by step guidance on how to access the E-Library resource. If you would like any further assistance on this resource please contact Becky Watson Stubbs.
If you are interested in getting involved with the College why not join the College’s Facebook page and become a fan.
Youth work links and resources are made available on there, and and notices about the College and courses can be found there.
